Do you like shopping? Going out to restaurants? Coffee drinker? Why not get a discount on them. How? There are websites that sells discounted gift cards you can use at your favorite shops. Say Starbucks, Applebees, Kohls, Walmart, AMC theaters, etc.
How it works is these sites gets the gift cards from people who don’t want them anymore, sells them to the websites, who in return sells it back to the consumer (you) with a little mark up. As an example, you can buy a $50 gift card for $40. The websites do vet the cards to make sure the amount is what they said. So if you are out and about anyway, why not get a gift card before hitting the town?
As there are quite a few sites out there, I go to a website (www.giftcardgranny.com) that complies most of the sites to find the most discounted card. A gift card search engine is how I would describe it.
One tip to keep in mind. The websites ask for 24 hours for the cards to be emailed to you, longer if you are going postal (intentional pun). So it’s best to plan your outings one day in advance. Thanks for reading.
